The villa
Set in a quiet corner of Marino, just twenty minutes from Rome, Villa Sofia is a private residence for those who want comfort, nature and seclusion — and the city close at hand.
The house is bright and spacious: six bedrooms, five bathrooms and two guest WCs. The private pool, a terrace that looks out over Rome and the open grounds are yours for the whole stay — breakfast outdoors, dinner at sunset, long unhurried days in between.
The private park covers 5,000 square metres and holds something you will not find at many villas: a stretch of the Appian Way, laid by the Romans two thousand years ago. From the grounds you can see the Pope's summer residence at Castel Gandolfo.
The whole estate — pool, terrace, tennis court and grounds — is at the guests' exclusive disposal. A separate guest house on the grounds is available on request. Dogs are welcome.
